I was so happy when i got a job in triveni industries (for the people who don't know triveni ,its a steam turbine mfg company located in Bangalore) because i was still studying at that time.The journey was made even more special because of the very intense training that we got during our first 10 months of joining which included our basic engineering training,soft skills, On the job training which no other mechanical company gives to its freshers .I was in my honeymoon period during that time because everything was going smooth according to my whims and fancies,i was earning my salary was making my own decisions was paying of my education loan also found my perfect partner so there was no stopping me at all from anything but everything went Topsy turvy when i heard the shock of my life which said that i have been posted to Pune and to add salt to injuries i was put in servicing dept.I still cant forget the day when i left Bangalore because there was tears in my moms eyes.It was really hard for me to adjust to the new life in the beginning but soon realized one phrase which was used umpteen number of times in our soft skill classes that "LIFE IS NOT FAIR" and "YOU MUST TAKE LIFE AS IT COMES WITHOUT COMPLAINING".I also recalled the words told by my HR who is incidentally also my mentor that servicing dept was the one where you had the maximum opportunity to learn and all those people who are managing things were once a part of this dept.Finally i believe in one mantra more than anything that HARD WORK ALWAYS PAYS.
